Account

How do I create an account?

On the website's Sign up page. You use the same username and password to log in to the game. Step by step: First Steps.

What username and password can I choose?

Username: 4–16 characters, lowercase letters (a–z) and numbers. Password: 8–16 characters with both letters and numbers, no accented letters.

What is the 7-digit delete code for?

You use it in the game to confirm deleting a character. You set it when you register – write it down somewhere safe.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Request a new one on the Forgot password page: we send a link to your account's email address, valid for 1 hour. While logged in, you can set a new password at any time on the My Account page. More: Account Security.

Can a GM ask for my password?

No. The LegendaMMO team will never ask for your password – not on Discord, not by email, not in the game. Anyone who does is a scammer.

Is there two-step login?

Two-step login and new device confirmation are in development. Until then: use a strong, unique password, and check your recent logins on the My Account page. See Account Security.

Download and launch

Where can I download the game?

On the website's Download page – the download button appears there as soon as the client is available. The game is coming to Steam soon, too.

What PC do I need?

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). Minimum and recommended requirements: System Requirements and Download.

I can't log in. What's wrong?

Check the website's Server Status page – it shows live whether the login server and the game world are up. If you entered a wrong password several times, logging in is temporarily locked: wait a little and try again.

Which languages can I play in?

The game is available in eight languages: Hungarian, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Romanian and Turkish.

Character

When and which faction should I choose?

You don't choose your faction in the character creator but at the end of Chapter 6 of the Chronicle, at level 50 – by then you will have met the envoys of all three. All three are equal; choose by their story. Your faction is chosen per character, so each of your characters can side with a different one. See Factions.

What is the difference between race and class?

Your race is your character's people and look; your class is how they fight. There are four starting heroes: Ironvowed (human), Moonshade (Shadowblooded), Ashcaller (Demonblooded) and Runecaller (half-elf); the fifth class, the Dark Elf, unlocks after level 300. See Races, Classes.

When can I play the Dark Elf class?

It unlocks after level 300; a new Dark Elf hero starts at level 1.

What are the class resources for?

Every class fights differently: the Ironvowed build Rage, the Moonshade use Energy and combo points, the Ashcaller Bloodforce, the Runecaller Mana; the Dark Elf is the class of the spear and the mounted charge. The classes are being reworked – see Classes.

What is the level cap?

Level 300. See Levels and progression.

Gameplay

Where do I start the story?

Visit Aldo, the Chronicler – he starts the Chronicle, the game's 30-chapter main story. The first chapter sends you to the starting valleys. See First Steps, The Chronicle.

How can I travel quickly?

With Kalden, the Ferryman and the Ash Wanderer, or from the discovered waypoints on the world map (M). The price depends on the destination's recommended level, at least 10 silver. See Travel.

Why is a region locked?

A region is available when its recommended level is at most 10 above yours and you have reached it in the Chronicle – or you have already been there. Cities and starting valleys are always open. See Travel.

What happens when I die?

You can revive on the spot or at the region's starting point. If a monster killed you, from level 10 onwards there is a chance to lose experience. See Death and Revival.

How do I sell items?

On the Market – via the Market button on the sidebar, or from an item's right-click menu. See Market.

How do I report a bug?

Through the in-game Ticket system (the Ticket button on the sidebar). Report bugs, don't exploit them – see Rules.

How often are the rankings updated?

Every minute. The game saves characters every few minutes, so a fresh level-up shows up a few minutes later. GMs and suspended accounts are not listed on the rankings.

Rules

What counts as cheating?

Cheat and bot programs, macros and exploiting bugs – all of them lead to a ban. A ban applies to the whole account. Details: Rules.

Can I sell or give away my account?

No. Accounts cannot be transferred, and buying or selling them is forbidden. See Rules.
