In LegendaMMO the maximum level is 300. The road there is laid out by the 30 chapters of the Chronicle across the regions of Nareth, and beyond level 300 the Heroic Level carries your progression further.
The road to level 300
- A new chapter every ten levels. Chronicle chapters follow each other every ten levels, each in its own region: from the starting valleys (level 1) to the Frozen Rift (levels 290–300). Recommended region levels: Regions.
- Acts. Act I: levels 1–59 · Act II: 60–119 · Act III: 120–179 · Act IV: 180–239 · Act V: 240–279 · Epilogue: from 280.
- Travel. The Ferryman and the Ash Wanderer take you to a region if you are at most 10 levels below its recommended level and you have reached its chapter in the Chronicle (or have been there before).
Where experience comes from
| Source | What it gives |
|---|---|
| Monsters | Hunting is the main source of experience. |
| The Chronicle | Every completed step grants experience; closing a chapter grants more experience, gold, material and a reward chest. |
| Side stories | Experience per step, plus experience and gold when closed. |
| Festival tasks | Experience and gold once a day. See Events. |
| Border War | The winning faction earns +5% experience for a week. See Border War. |
On the experience lost at death: Death and revival.
Ability progression
Alongside your character level, your abilities grow too: you earn ability points as you level up, abilities climb from rank I to V and then to Legendary, and the cap is raised by your class order's Order Trials at levels 30, 60, 120, 180 and 240. See Ability Ranks and Classes.
Heroic Level (beyond level 300)
Once you reach level 300, the Heroic Level opens. From then on, defeated monsters grant heroic experience; you can follow your Heroic Level and points in the Hero's Journal.
- Heroic Level: from 0 to 200.
- Levelling up: the next Heroic Level requires 300 + 30 × (your current Heroic Level) heroic experience.
- Heroic point: every Heroic Level grants one heroic point.
- Heroic experience: comes from Chronicle monsters and world bosses, as long as the monster is not too weak for you.
| Defeated foe | Heroic experience |
|---|---|
| Chronicle monster | 1 |
| Elite monster | 5 |
| Chapter chief foe | 25 |
| World boss | 200 |
The four tablets
You spend heroic points on four tablets.
| Tablet | Per point | Maximum |
|---|---|---|
| Tablet of Strength | Attack value +4 | 50 points |
| Tablet of Life | Max. HP +150 | 50 points |
| Tablet of Armor | Defence +4 | 50 points |
| Hunter's Tablet | Damage against monsters +1% | 20 points |
You can reset the tablets for 500 gold, which returns every heroic point you have spent.
Permanent bonuses
Beyond levels, several systems grant permanent power:
- Legendary imprints – imprints placed in the three sockets of the Hero's Journal, each with a permanent bonus (for example Max. HP +3000, Attack value +80, Damage against monsters +8%). The first socket is open from the start, the second opens at level 150, the third at level 250 or with a Heroic Level. Removing an imprint costs 100 gold, and you get the item back.
- On the Trail of Ash – Csenge the Ash Researcher's ten-stage research from level 30 to level 280; every stage grants a permanent bonus. The stages: The Chronicle.
Unlocking the Dark Elf
The Dark Elf, the fifth class, unlocks after level 300; a new Dark Elf hero starts at level 1. See Classes.
