The Tournament of Champions is Nareth's most prestigious duelling contest: one evening, single elimination, one winner. Each round pits you against a randomly drawn opponent, and only the winner advances – until a single champion remains.
Schedule
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Saturday 19:45 | Registration opens for 15 minutes – an announcement goes out to every player |
| Saturday 20:00 | Registration closes and the first round begins |
| Afterwards | Round after round until one champion is left |
The duels are fought in the arena of the Bloodhall. If fewer than two players have signed up when registration closes, the tournament is cancelled.
Taking part
- Level: 30 or higher.
- Sign-up: through the "Tournament of Champions" option of Ulrik, the Arena Master (in every capital), or on the Tournament of Champions tab of the PvP window (sidebar sword button / P).
- Withdrawing: while registration is open, you can withdraw in the same place.
- Stay online during the tournament: if you're not in the game when your duel comes up, you're eliminated.
Rules
- Pairings: at the start of each round, everyone still in the running is paired at random. With an odd number of players, one advances automatically without an opponent.
- Duels: best of three rounds – the first to win two rounds advances, the loser is eliminated.
- If a duel can't start (for example because someone is dead or already in another duel), the system keeps trying for 2 minutes; after that, whoever is available advances – if both are, a coin toss decides.
- If your opponent isn't online, you advance automatically.
The tournament window shows the current state (closed, registration, in progress), the number of entrants, your own status (registered, still in, eliminated), and the duels of the current round with their results. You're notified when a new round starts and before your own duel.
Rewards

Wall of Glory
Every tournament victory is recorded under the champion's name. The Wall of Glory – in the tournament window and in Ulrik's list of champions – lists the ten players with the most tournament wins, together with their number of titles.
