An adventurer's belongings pile up fast: weapons, armour, materials, keys, chests. This page shows where you can keep it all – with the storekeeper, in the Material Bag and in your own bag – and the tools that help you keep it in order.
Storage
Storage is looked after by Gerold, the Storekeeper. You will find him in all three capitals: Bloodmoon Keep, Suncrown Keep and Veilharbor. Talk to him to open your storage.
Good to know:
- Equipped items cannot be stored – take off whatever you are wearing first.
- While your storage is open, some features pause: you cannot use the Market or start a journey from the world map.
Material Bag
The Material Bag is a separate store for stackable materials: whatever you put in holds any amount and takes up no space in your bag. Its contents are bound to your character.
What goes in:
- forging materials, ores, gemstones;
- Gold Bars, Dread Keys.
Using it: use the Material Bag item to open its window.
- The list shows the materials inside (icon, name, quantity), with a summary on top such as "6 kinds – 2,734 pcs". You can filter as you type.
- Put everything in – every bag-ready material in your inventory goes in with one click.
- Take out… (or double-click a row) – enter an amount, up to 1,000 at a time. Materials only come out while your bag has room; whatever does not fit stays in the sack – nothing drops to the ground.
Your bag (Inventory)
Open the Inventory with the I key or the taskbar button.
- Equipment | Appearance: the paper doll on the left has two tabs. Equipment shows what you are wearing, Appearance how it looks (see Appearance and Mounts). Below it are your character's name, class, level and main stats.
- Bag: a single scrolling bag, 8 slots to a row. Its tabs – All, Equipment, Materials, Quest and Other – show you only what you are looking for with one click. The bag starts with 40 slots and can be expanded to 120 with bag items. The top line shows how many are in use.
- Money: at the bottom of the bag, shown as gold / silver / copper (1 gold = 100 silver = 10,000 copper); click it to take money out.
- Two equipment sets: with the "Set I / II" buttons above the paper doll you can save two full sets of gear and switch between them with the X key. When you switch, the game equips the set's pieces from your bag and tells you if anything is missing.
Sorting
The Sort button merges stackable items, then arranges your bag by item type. If the sorted contents would not fit, nothing moves – no item is ever lost. Your ability bar keeps its links.
Searching your bag
The bag reacts to the search box as you type: matching items get a gold frame, everything else fades.
Pickup filter
The Filter button decides which items your character picks up from the ground. You can toggle ten item types on or off and choose a pickup mode: one by one or all at once.
Item menu
Right-click an item in your bag: Equip / Use / Unequip, Sell on the Market, Binding Enchant, Link in chat and Destroy. Options that do not apply to that item are greyed out. Double-click uses an item instantly.
Destroying items
You do not have to drop unwanted items on the ground: the Destroy entry in the item menu removes them for good after a confirmation.
Tradable marker
During a trade, items you cannot give to someone else get a reddish tint – so you see at a glance what you cannot trade.
